  • A Day at The Dolce & Gabbana Exhibit

A Day at The Dolce & Gabbana Exhibit

If you know me, you know I’m all about fashion and will never pass up the chance to attend an exhibit. Last summer, when I was in NYC, I got to check out the Karl Lagerfeld Exhibit, and it was unreal—seeing his work from Chanel, Chloé, to Fendi was just mind-blowing.

This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to spend a day at the Dolce & Gabbana Exhibit in Milan. Before my visit, I knew very little about the captivating story behind the iconic fashion house and its legacy. I mean, I knew they existed, but that was about it—nothing more.

    A Walk Through The Exhibit

I still remember walking into that first room and being completely blown away. My friend and I looked at each other, mesmerized and speechless, like, ‘Are we seriously seeing this right now?’ I mean, when you look at the craftsmanship and the intricate details, you’ll see it for yourself, its NOT  just clothing; it’s art.

As the tour continued and we moved to the next room, we were completely absorbed into the world.

I don’t even know how to put it into words—it was honestly mind-blowing. We spent hours wandering and talking about the pieces in every room, looking at each piece and admiring every tiny detail.

The experience made me understand their legacy and history more deeply. I always knew clothing could be art, but I wasn’t expecting their work to be so artistic and complex. The beauty and drama of their creations were intoxicating. The theatricality of the exhibit—it just blew me away.

A Love Letter to the Italian Culture

One of the most amazing things about the Dolce & Gabbana exhibit was how much of their work was inspired by Italian culture, especially the colours and styles of Sicily. Upon entering the Sicily room, I was blown away by the . Everything in the room—from the colours to the clothes, feathers, jewelry, and paintings on the wall—was influenced by Sicily’s rich heritage. After the show, I did some research and found out that Sicily, where Domenico Dolce was born, has been a huge inspiration for the brand since the very beginning. You can really see the island’s sights, flavors, colors, and traditions woven into every piece in that exhibit—it was such a beautiful tribute.

    The Iconic Pieces

If I had to pick my absolute favourites—though it’s nearly impossible because everything at the exhibit was mind-blowing—it would be these pieces. The level of detail that went into each creation was enough to make me fall in love instantly. These specific designs really stood out to me. I remember just standing there, completely mesmerized, admiring them from every angle. I found myself getting lost in every bead, every stitch, every bit of threadwork. The artistry was on a whole other level, leaving us in awe!

    Opulence in Detail

The attention to detail in everything at the exhibit was absolutely mind-blowing! I was completely obsessed with how precise and intricate each piece was, from the clothes to the shoes and jewelry. I honestly could’ve stared at them for hours. It’s those tiny, thoughtful details that really impressed me and made me fall in love with the artistry behind each creation. The level of craftsmanship was just unreal, and it made me appreciate the hard work and creativity that goes into making these stunning pieces. I mean, the pictures don’t do justice to these creations. It was one of those things where you just had to be there to really feel the energy in the room. The atmosphere, the craftsmanship—it was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. You could sense the passion and artistry in every piece, and no photo could fully capture that.

    The Art Behind the Fashion

One of the coolest parts of the exhibit was being able to actually see the seamstresses and artisans working in real-time, right there in front of us. They had this pop-up workshop where you could watch them bring the garments to life, like a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the fashion house’s creative process. It felt like stepping into their real studios, and I even got a few photos of them working on the pieces, which was amazing to see up close! It made me appreciate the craftsmanship on an entirely new level. I truly believe the seamstresses are the real heroes!!

    ………………………………………………………

I left the Dolce & Gabbana exhibit with more than just admiration for beautiful clothes—I left with a deep respect for the artistry and creativity that goes into fashion. It’s no longer just about what we wear but about the stories we tell, the cultures we honour, and the emotions we express. That day at the exhibit opened my eyes in ways I’ll never forget.

After the exhibit, my friend and I decided to grab some sushi, and we were still completely blown away by everything we had just seen. Neither of us had experienced anything like it before, and we both left inspired. We couldn’t stop talking about it over dinner, going on and on about the incredible designs, the craftsmanship, and how inspiring the whole day had been. It felt like we were on such a high from the experience!  It was just one of those days where everything felt so special—a day to remember.

  • The Ultimate Guide To A Timeless Wardrobe

The Ultimate Guide To A Timeless Wardrobe

A few years back, my daily struggle began.

Picture this: it’s 6 am, and I’m getting ready for work. I stare at my wardrobe, feeling like it’s been hit by a tornado.

Do I have to battle with what to wear again?

The wardrobe is jam-packed. I can spot over 50 pieces of clothing without even opening a drawer. Clothes are scattered all over. I glance at my watch and realize that 40 minutes have passed, and I still don’t have an outfit.

This was a frequent occurrence. I’d often find myself in front of a closet full of clothes but with nothing to wear, despite regular shopping trips.

Sure, it’s not a life changer in the bigger scheme of things, but the stress can be so real.

    Am I the only one??

As I’ve matured, I’ve chosen to approach shopping more mindfully. Instead of giving into the impulse to buy whatever catches my eye, I focus on purchasing things I genuinely need.

This shift has helped me avoid accumulating unworn items with price tags still attached, which I would later donate after a year.

Simplifying my choices is really important to me. LatelyI’ve naturally been drawn to effortlessly chic looks that not only make me feel good but also exude confidence.

So, in today’s post, we discuss building a wardrobe that reflects your style and needs without overspending or buying in excess. We are all about sustainability and repeating outfits here!!!

NOTE: I want to emphasize that this post is not sponsored. The recommended items are truly my favourite everyday essentials, and I do not receive any commission from them.

    1. Functional Undergarments

    a. The Lace Thong

As a woman, I never really got the lowdown on what kind of panties would be the best fit for me—you know, comfy, and that doesn’t show through clothing. After trying many options, the lace thong is my go-to winner and the most reliable choice. I’ve collected several in different colours, especially neutral tones, for practicality.

    Where to Buy:

    Where to Buy:

    AERIE- Sunny Blossom Lace Thong

ANN SUMMERS- Sexy Lace Planet Thong

    b. Bras

There are three essential bras that every woman should have in her wardrobe.

    The Everyday Bra-

Behold the ultimate queen of all bras!

This is the one you’ll reach for every morning. Naturally, it’s got to be super soft and provide excellent support because it will be your go-to bra. Opt for a nude shade or grab at least four in neutral tones to ensure it doesn’t peek through your outfits. Sure, neutral bras might seem a tad boring, but they’re essential when it comes to function!

    A plunge bra-

Make sure you have the right bra for every outfit in your wardrobe. A plunge bra is essential for low-cut tops and dresses, offering a natural lift for your breasts.

Every woman needs a little black dress, and if you’re anything like me, you can never have too many! This dress is the perfect addition to your collection. The delicate straps draw attention to your neck, which is an incredibly sensual part of a woman’s body. Keep it simple with a dainty necklace or leave it bare for a chic look. This dress is versatile and can be styled in countless ways, but I especially love it paired with the accessories shown here. Say yes to heaven with this angelic dress-literally. I’m obsessed with dresses that nod to art history, and this one is just *chef’s kiss*. This gorgeous emerald green dress screams sophistication, and the fancy details at the bottom make it even more intriguing. And those long, dazzling earrings? They go perfectly with the dress and make the whole look pop.

Oh my, have you tried off-shoulder dresses? They are amazing! They make you look both sexy and classy. I love the dramatic structure of this dress. It’s intriguing. As I am growing older,  my preference has moved to knee-length dresses that add a little flair and drama like this one!!! It gives off a more elegant vibe, especially when you’re going on a first date and don’t want to reveal too much skin.

Yeah, I totally get what you’re saying about the dress – it might be too short for a date. But don’t sweat it; I’ve got a quick fix for ya. Just throw on some tight black leggings with it, and it’ll only add to the sexiness of the dress. And can we talk about those flower details? So minimal, yet so gorgeous in red. This dress is definitely here to slay!

This dress is so gorgeous and reminds me of Monica Belluci! It’s like a corset that goes down to the feet and fits like a dream. You can tell it’s made for a high-value woman who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to demand it. I’m seriously obsessed with this outfit – it’s one for the books!

  • Inside The Met’s Karl Lagerfeld Exhibit: A Line of Beauty

Inside The Met’s Karl Lagerfeld Exhibit: A Line of Beauty

During one of his many visits, Tommy Hilfiger asked Karl Lagerfeld, “Karl, how did you become so successful with Chanel?”

Lagerfeld replied, “I went to the archives, and everything Coco Chanel had done in the past, I made it relevant for today.”

Years later, Tommy Hilfiger used that philosophy to reinvent his legendary brand. He brought out all the greatest hits and made them relevant for today. It worked.

After Coco Chanel died in 1971, Chanel lost much of its prestige. It started declining in the late Sixties as she became older, making the brand boring and bougie.

Enter Karl Lagerfeld; he completely revolutionized the brand by creating a blueprint that’s still being followed. He brought Chanel effortlessly into the 21st century with rigour and burning passion.

All designers have a cycle of creativity. For very few of them, it lasts more than 20 years. Lagerfeld kept going for 60 — that’s huge. And that’s what makes him so legendary.

He was the first designer with pioneering success, creating an unforgettable legacy for brands that didn’t carry his name, such as Chloé, Fendi, and Chanel, creating a diverse and prolific body of work unparalleled in fashion.

As a tribute to the legend, the Met Museum curated a fabulous Karl Lagerfeld Exhibition, “A Line of Beauty,” in New York. I was one of the lucky ones who got to see the exhibit on its last day.

Approximately 150 pieces were beautifully displayed, accompanied by Lagerfeld’s sketches—a fitting tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, whose prolific creations spanned two centuries.

I spent hours marvelling at his extraordinary and prolific creations that went straight from his sketches to the catwalk. It is said that Lagerfeld could draw before he could walk or talk. In many ways, it was his primary form of communication.

So, at its heart, the exhibition looked at the evolution of Karl’s sketches into garments worn on the runway. And what’s fascinating to have discovered: I always thought his drawings were spontaneous and free. But they were, in truth, extremely precise and mathematical.

We couldn’t see it because we are not trained professionals, but his premiers knew down to the inches what each line meant. It was like a secret code, a language shared between him and the heads of his ateliers.

Hats off to all the talented and skillful seamstresses who successfully manifested those designs from mere paper sketches into beautiful, precise and well-made pieces of clothing.

His passion spoke to me and opened my eyes to see that fashion, made with the right vision…is actually art!! Who knew fashion could be this beautiful?

Looking at the never-ending collection, one could get whiplash walking around the exhibition, trying to catch a glimpse at the hundreds of ensembles on display.

During the exhibition, admiring his body of art, it was evident he changed the course of fashion with his pioneering vision, extraordinary talent, and creative genius, leaving a remarkable legacy as one of our time’s greatest and most prolific designers.

I could go on and on about Karl’s extraordinary and prolific talents. I’ll let some of the pictures that I took from the exhibition do all the talking-

    11. Vivien Leigh

A woman of great style and taste. Vivien Leigh’s extravagant dresses in the movie, Gone With the Wind (1939), were memorable and timeless. They made displays of pomp and wealth more fashionable.

Jackie Kennedy popularised the collegiate look in the early 60s. After becoming the first lady, her influence on fashion grew even more, with each public appearance of hers evoking a sense of awe in the media for her remarkable fashion sense.

    13. Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson’s fashion influence is quite literally unparalleled. With an eccentric, creative and sparkling sense of style, he was the first pop star to define fashion on his terms. A fashion pioneer, every spell-binding costume he put on became a part of his legendary legacy. Her most iconic accessory is his now-legendary single white glove. No matter what Jackson wore before or after he introduced the white glove to his aesthetic, it would be the defining fashion moment in his career full of groundbreaking style.

    14. Humphrey Bogart

    17. Charlie Chaplin

Not many would think of Charlie Chaplin as a fashion icon. However, he certainly brought new meaning to the old 19th Century look with his trademark bowler hat and stick. Almost a century later, the mere sight of the hat and stick brings the image of the iconic comedian to everyone’s mind. Revolutionary, indeed!

    18. Clark Gable

    19. Clint Eastwood

    20. Kanye West

Love or hate him, Kanye West is a visionary who made a name for himself as an artist, designer, and trendsetter. There’s no doubt Kanye’s footprint is strong wherever he plants it. Looking back at Kanye’s style moments, it’s clear he doesn’t play by anyone’s rules, nor does he ever conform to societal norms. Along with his friend Virgil Abloh, Kanye West successfully paved the way for streetwear to become a part of high fashion.

    21. Kim Kardashian

Last but certainly not least, Kim Kardashian is certainly the most influential fashion icon today. Her glam is inspiring millions in this smartphone and social media era of instant fashion!

  • Thrifty to Luxe: 4 Best Boutiques & Stores in Vancouver

Thrifty to Luxe: 4 Best Boutiques & Stores in Vancouver

There’s something about Vancouver that just feels so easy. Maybe it’s their cool art galleries, cinematic theatre experiences, splendid music scene, and the local food. And, don’t even get me started on their shopping scene. They don’t call Vancouver “the Manhattan of Canada” for nothing.

The last time I was there, in early September, I was lucky enough to check out some local shopping boutiques in the neighbourhood close to my hotel.

From unique vintage thrift stores to luxury boutiques that carry rare archives from iconic designers, here are the four best shopping places I wouldn’t want you to miss in this epic city.

    1) Once More: Luxury for less

A candy store for the ultimate fashion lover. If you’re short on time and only have the time to visit one store, then let it be this one.

What’s so special about this store, you ask?

You can find plenty of exciting vintage pieces from legendary fashion houses like Versace, Gucci, Comme des Garcons, Prada, Burberry, etc.  Everything about the store screams luxury at affordable prices, from classic and chic attire to their jaw-dropping shoe collection. I scored a steal deal on practically new red crystal-covered Valentino stiletto heels for half the retail price.

Melissa Dhu, the owner and the founder of the boutique, was so kind and welcoming. She took the time to explain the story behind every item in the store, most of which were from Melissa’s personal closet. In speaking with Melissa, I realized that the clothes, shoes, and bags we own have had a life before us, and if we take good care of them, they have a life after us.

Sharing with you some pictures that I captured while at the store-

    2) MINE & YOURS

Dying for some red-soled little pieces of art or Jimmy Choo in your size? Voted as one of the Best Consignment Stores in Vancouver, keep Mine & Yours on your radar, and I promise you that you won’t leave disappointed. If you LOVE fine-quality things and don’t want to spend a fortune, then this is the store for you. I felt like I was in a fashion museum as some of the things at the store dated back to the 1920s. So cool!!

As you enter the store, you can feel a high-end boutique’s warm and chic ambiance. The shop is filled with cool pieces from every iconic designer you can think of at affordable prices. Thanks to this iconic boutique, our closets have never looked better!!! <3 Sharing some pictures that I took at the store-

    3) Wildlife Thrift Store

An iconic family-owned & operated, Wildlife Thrift is a breath of fresh air and a cult favourite among the locals. Chic, a picturesque thrift store in the middle of Vancouver, you are guaranteed to find a unique variety of things, including clothes, video games, furniture, books, art, and other trendy finds, at shockingly low prices. I can promise you will find treasures that you might not have expected.

A brand with a strong philosophy of protecting and preserving mother nature for generations. In describing their brand values, they say, “we believe in one, single, simple concept: by recycling, we are not only able to preserve our environment but are granted the privilege of giving back.”

If you’re still not sold on it, they donate to local charities that help those experiencing Homelessness & Mental Health issues. So if you feel bad about spending money on retail therapy, at least you are giving back to people.

    4) Community Thrift and Vintage Frock Shoppe

Founded in 2011, Community Thrift & Vintage Frock Shoppe is a not-for-profit thrift store based in Vancouver. I loved quietly browsing all the beautiful one-of-a-kind vintage clothing and jewellery, which made it impossible to leave empty-handed.

Even though prices on some items were high for a thrift store, it’s still worth checking out because you do find special and unique pieces that are hard to find in the malls.

They employ women in need from the local community to work in the business. And, since all their profits go towards supporting at-risk women in the Downtown Eastside (DTES), shopping here felt so sustainable and fulfilling at the same time.

Are there any other stores that you would add to the list? Comment below I’d love to know and check them out on my next visit.

  • “Outfit for humans”: An interview with one of the coolest fashion designers in Paris.

“Outfit for humans”: An interview with one of the coolest fashion designers in Paris.

“We live in a world of limitations, and the only adrenaline we need to have is to break the codes and barriers in front of us.” Paris-based fashion designer Stimps Kwams talks about his fashion label Usure Project, which revolve which revolves around vintage, 90s hip-hop music & culture. Here, he shares the inspiration behind his designs and the powerful message for all aspiring fashion leaders.

Tell me your story. How did you get into fashion?

My story and my passion for fashion started very young.  It started when I was 12, I would say with sneakers first and later with the influence of hip hop music. Attracted by artistic things and drawing, I turned to a model designer training between Rennes and Paris with a 3-year diploma. Then in 2019, I obtained my master’s degree in Luxury and Fashion Marketing.

When did your journey to fashion begin?

It all started during the Tumblr era in 2012. I had created a blog called ” No Ceiling in fashion design.” It was my mood board where I went to document myself.

I appreciated two accounts of Virgil Abloh * Pyrex Vision * and Nouveau Rich, managed by a salesperson from Louboutin Terry. Later, with Instagram, things had evolved a little more to connect directly to the creators.

What’s the story of your fashion label Usure Project? Have you always dreamed of having your label?

Usure project is the story of two friends who meet and are driven by the same passion. But for personal reasons, one of the group members leaves the ship. But this gives even more courage to the second to continue the project until completion. This is not necessarily my first dream.  Because I had just finished my studies in styling and was coming out of a study internship that went wrong, this project allowed me to surpass myself and see how to make my place in this fashion environment.

Describe your journey of design from concept to construction?

My journey begins with searching for ideas.

I can spend weeks in the library reading books on fashion on the evolution of the concept itself and come across an artistic image that inspires me.

After consulting my textile printer on the possibility of making my idea real, I am also helped by my girlfriend, who is very talented in textile design and embroidery and several talented friends. I will hunt for pieces that I rework myself in a creative studio until the piece makes me dream.

Where do you find the inspiration for your designs?

It’s a lot of research and the message that the work of art evokes in me. Most of the time, I am inspired by the music I listen to, from the art of Basquiat to Salvadore Dali. Art allows bringing a force to clothes that no one has captured before.

What is your favourite part of the design process?

When I am done with 99% of the project. I have to add a detail like the last brushstroke to perfect the piece as a work of art.

How do you want people to feel when wearing your clothes?

I want them to feel like the next creative people of our time. The proof, all those who bought me clothes are either designers, artists or business leaders in fashion.

What ethics are important to you as a fashion designer while creating your designs?

My ethic is to never give up on my projects. Maybe the project you are proposing today does not appeal to the general public but do not stop until you come across the watchful eye of someone who understands your approach.

Are you working on anything exciting right now?

Of course, but I wouldn’t say more because a magician does not reveal all his magic tricks; otherwise, there is no surprise effect.

What advice would you give someone who wants to start their fashion label?

I can’t give great advice only if you are able enough to do it 100%.

    How do you define fashion?

Fashion is the modern and contemporary art of transforming a piece of fabric into a work of art by using different molding or flat-cutting techniques according to the story that the creator wants to tell us.

Who is your biggest fashion inspiration?

I have in priority two personalities in mind the tenacity and the vision of Kanye West and the message that Virgil Abloh left us: “You can do it too.”

Collaboration between Usure Project and Reine Croco

    Who’s your favourite fashion icon?

They are several: Kanye West, Asap Rocky, Pharell and Asap Nast they dare in their style.

They mix vintage pieces with luxury pieces. For me, they understood fashion because real fashion is vintage.

What keeps you motivated and inspired every day?

People who have succeeded despite the fact that the whole world took them for fools. We live in a world of limitations, and the only adrenaline we need to have is to break the codes and barriers in front of us.

What advice would you give to young designers just starting and hoping to make it in this cut-throat competitive industry?

If you want to get started, do it 100%. Only the sky is the limit. Do not be afraid to do it.

Do you often attend art exhibitions? Who are some of your favourite artists/photographers?

    Yes, very often.

My favourite exhibitions are the artistic ones.

Installations like recently seen that of David Hammons on the Afro-American culture. A collective of young Parisian photographers who work on a project on the company AIR Afrique and that of Salvadore Dali

Thank you so much, Stimps <3

  • My Beauty Cocktail: Sabrina Mann

    My Beauty Cocktail: Sabrina Mann

Sabrina Mann is an Edmonton based fashion model and a beauty consultant. She is also a serious beauty enthusiast who posts her own incredible makeup and hair tutorials on Instagram. “I want to inspire others to live a meaningful, passionate, and fulfilling life.” she describes as her motto in life.

Here, she shares her all-natural vegan skincare routine, her go-to lipstick and how her online business transformed her life.

First, let’s talk about beauty. What’s your beauty philosophy/mantra?

I like to keep things organic and natural! Having healthy, glowing skin is a necessity! Wearing minimal to no makeup and feeling fully confident is the ultimate goal!

When do you feel most beautiful?

I feel the most beautiful as my natural, confident, happy self. Being a fashion lover, wearing my styled looks makes me feel even more beautiful!

Anyone that follows you on Instagram knows you’re a big skincare enthusiast. Could you walk me through your morning/night skincare routine?

My Monat skincare routine has absolutely transformed my skin!

I love starting with the Be Balanced cleanser, using the water essence to refine my pores, the C Radiance serum for vitamin C (to get that glow) in the mornings, and the rewind age control nectar at night, and finish with the Be Balanced lightweight moisturizer

I also love using skin tools every few weeks to give my skin some extra care. My faves are my blade for dermaplaning, microdermabrasion and micro-needling! And of course, don’t forget to exfoliate 2-3x a week with a gentle, hydrating scrub! I use this one.

The word self-care is buzzing right now. What are some of the things that help you feel good?

Number 1 on my list would be taking a nice hot bath! Baths help me wind down and also help my sore muscles since I workout regularly. Having a gym routine has helped a lot with my energy and really helps clear my mind. I also love meditating every morning and night. Really helps start my day off right and release or work through any stagnant energy!

We’ve talked about your love for fashion, and it’s clearly evident on your Instagram. You’re always doing different fashion hauls on your Instagram. Do you have any favourite sources?

My favourite places to shop at are Zara, Artizia, Garage and Dynamite!! Most of my wardrobe is from those brands. For online shopping, I do like Pretty Little Thing and boohoo

You’ve mentioned several times that your business has changed your life. Can you tell me a little bit more about that?

I work with Monat- a vegan hair and skincare brand, and it has changed my life forever. I started this online business, not having a single clue about anything that I was doing. It made me super nervous, but I met such amazing supportive and like-minded people! Being in that environment pushed me to grow and become the person I am today.

I have grown so much as a person over the last two years of my doing this business, and it makes me so happy. I want to make a difference in this world and inspire others to control their lives and do the things that make them happy! My business provides me with the stability and flexibility I need to live out this lifestyle!

Who’s your fashion inspiration, and why?

I wouldn’t say I have one specific fashion inspiration, honestly. I take inspiration from so many places! Pop culture, designers/brands or celebs have always influenced my style. I take what I like and make it into my own.

Your go-to makeup routine? (with product names)

I like to keep it simple and minimal. I love doing full glam, but natural makeup that highlights my features is my go-to!

I start off by prepping my skin with Rejuveniqe Oil. After I use my base primer for a dewy glow. After primer, I use my Maybelline camouflage concealer for any under eyes or blemishes. I don’t use any foundation or bb cream. Right after concealer, I use Kat Von D translucent powder to set. Then, I use Hoola bronzer to warm up the skin, Charlotte tilbury blush to add colour, Benefit tinted eyebrow gel for the fluffy brow look, and finish off with Charlotte Tilbury mascara

    Your go-to lipstick?

    Lolita by Kat Von D

    Bold lips or bold eyes?

    Bold lips for sure.

One person living or dead you could go to dinner with, and why?

Rihanna because she’s my idol!! A queen inside and out, I’d love to meet her.

With your social media presence on Instagram, how do you maintain a level of privacy in your life

I like to be open and vulnerable to my social media and show people the real me! To show people that I am not this perfect person, share my struggles, and celebrate my wins. Of course, that doesn’t mean I share absolutely everything. There are certain boundaries I have; however, I am generally a very open person.

Your Instagram is extremely uplifting and optimistic. I was pleasantly surprised to see that same level of optimism in real life. Where does all that positivity come from daily?

It all started with my personal development journey that went hand in hand with starting my business. Mastering your mindset is key! I don’t wake up energized and motivated every morning. It all comes down to my mindset, discipline and desire to be better! If there something I am passionate about, I will absolutely do everything it takes to achieve it. Yes, I do have my days where I am not so positive, but I have the compassion and awareness to shift my perspective during those times.

You are always so confident and seem so unshakable at all times. However, we as humans tend to have insecurities no matter how much we deny. What do you do to curb your insecurities?

Yes absolutely! I would say I am 99% confident and have maybe 1% insecurities. That is the result of all my personal growth, but it wasn’t always like that. Whats really helped me overcome my insecurities is fully accepting who I am and stopping comparing myself to others.

I am uniquely me, and no one else can be that! I am on my own person and on my own path and journey in life! Comparison is literally a killer of dreams and confidence. Just remember you cannot be someone else, and they cannot be you. Only YOU can be you, so always speak and live in your truth. Accept yourself for the beautiful, living, breathing soul that you are.

Having a business based on your cell phone certainly has many advantages but can sometimes take a toll on your mental health. Do you ever have any days where you want to take a social media break? How does that affect your business and clients?

I absolutely do take breaks from social media! However, since I have the right work/life balance, I rarely need a long break. I am also a very organized person, so I have systems where if I do need time away, it doesn’t affect my business or clients! My company does not solely rely on social media, so taking breaks does not affect my clients or income too much!

Thank you so much, Sabrina! If you wish to book a skin or hair consultation with Sabrina, please reach out to her on instagram.
